Patrick Simpson Managing Director

Patrick Simpson

Managing Director

Patrick joined the Docherty family as a Director and Shareholder in 2010 and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team having worked in the building services industry since 1983.

He was appointed Managing Director in August 2017, following the retirement of Allister Moorcroft after more than 33 years with the company. Patrick is looking forward to leading the team and building on the respected foundations established by two generations of the Moorcroft family.

Paul was brought on board in 2013 to develop the IT function across the group ensuring all departments can offer you the best service through use of technology.

Paul has a wealth of experience in delivering high value projects across both software and enterprise infrastructure having previously managed large scale, complex change projects which have consolidated and modernised IT environments.

Jed Smith Senior Commercial Manager

Senior Commercial Manager

Jed joined the company in November 2015 and is responsible for the management of operations, sales and marketing functions as well as facilitating exciting expansion plans for the business.

His multi-disciplinary role encompasses all areas of the company and as such is a good point of reference for any issues or queries relating to current and on-going projects.

Matt Payne Supply Chain Manager

Matt Payne has joined us in July 2016. His role is to implement continuous improvement throughout all areas of the supply chain: manufacturing, purchasing, planning, warehousing and logistics.

Matt brings with him a wealth of procurement experience, having previously worked with a string of large organisations including MSC Industrial Supply.

Hannah Freeman

Group Finance Manager

Hannah is an ACCA qualified accountant with a wealth of experience in distribution and manufacturing.

Her role involves overseeing all financial aspects of the company working closely with internal departments, suppliers and clients to develop a financial framework ensuring ongoing viability and a secure financial future in line with the organisation’s goals and values.
